I am the managing editor at New York Magazine’s e-commerce and shopping vertical The Strategist. In my own writing, I love diving deep into the history of things (especially alcoholic beverages), discovering places that are slightly off the beaten path, and speaking with experts to find the absolute best version of that thing you didn’t know you needed.

My writing, photography, and food and product styling has appeared in Grub Street, Vice Munchies, Man Repeller, and the Los Angeles Times, among other publications — including the cookbook Breakfast: The Most Important Book About the Best Meal of the Day. Based in Brooklyn, I am a member of the Newswomen’s Club of New York.
