I am a staff writer at New York Magazine’s e-commerce and shopping vertical The Strategist where I write about (and often test) kitchen appliances and tech gadgets. In my editorial work, I love diving deep into the history of things, from canned, caffeinated malt beverages to national food holidays; discovering places that are slightly off the beaten path, like this island off the coast of Maine or the burgeoning craft beer scene in Seoul, South Korea; and picking the brains of industry experts to find the absolute best version of any one thing, from lightbulbs to backpacks.

My writing, photography, and food and product styling has appeared in Grub Street, Vice Munchies, Man Repeller, and the Los Angeles Times, among other publications — including the cookbook Breakfast: The Most Important Book About the Best Meal of the Day. Based in Brooklyn, I am a member of the Newswomen’s Club of New York.
